Software Craftsmanship

I just read this post that quoted Jutta Eckstein as saying XP and Agile Development are no longer trendy; they have moved into the realm of maturity. So what is next after Agile? There was also a link to what Uncle Bob hope will be the next big thing: Software Craftsmanship.

Anyone who knows me probably knows that I really like to take pride in code that I write when I have control to do the project right. I would love to implement agile development while approaching a project with the eye of a craftsman. Unfortunately I need some inspiration. Maybe since Paul Graham thinks there is a correlation between Hackers and Painters, I should look for inspiration when painters often look: nude women

I think I am really on to something here. What do you get when an artist mixes Agile Development with Web2.0? Porn2.0?
