Mac Mail Crashes on Tiger

I upgraded to Tiger today and it is cool, but now I can’t read my mail. Mac Mail is able to download the messages (POP and IMAP), but when I try to actually open the message Mail crashes. I am not able to read a single message.

I thought maybe it was because Spotlight was still indexing my system, but it completed and the problem still persists. I tried to reboot and see if maybe there was something incomplete about the install, but it still crashes.

I do like the new toolbars in Mail though.

Yeah, that’s me. Not sure if I will be there or not, but if so I will see you there.

I just got Tiger today and have the same problem. I hope a solution is in sight because I need my email; I cannot afford to go several days without.

I was able to fix it by creating a new profile.

It was not an ideal fix because I lost my filters, but I am able to get my mail.

I had exactly the same problem.
I finally soved it by uninstalling GPGMail (in ~/Library/Mail/Bundles). After a relaunch, the problem disapeared.

    Yours,
