Increase in PHP Projects?

Is anyone else seeing a huge jump in the number or people looking for PHP developers? I am getting contacted about once a week from new recruiters.

Another thing I have noticed is that people looking for PHP work seem to have small budgets. There is a stigma that PHP developers have been working to overcome that labels PHP as an easy language. “Easy” doesn’t translate too well to dollars.

PHP as a language is very powerful. However, for the most part (and there ARE exceptions to this), the whole PHP community seems so novice to me these days.
