Ideal Work Environment

by Jackson Miller on February 26th, 2008

I don’t much care for traveling for work. Still, I have to admit that my ideal work environment is a first class airplane cabin. It is comfortable and quiet (especially with headphones). There are people around, but they are not distracting people. There are very few distractions (phones don’t work, Twitter isn’t updating, my email inbox and feed reader are not getting any new items (but I can plow through the items that are there).

Oh, and there is someone to bring me drinks, snacks, and meals.

Someone should open up a coworking space modeled after a first class airplane cabin complete with cell phone blockers and no internet.
