Internal Combustion Engines are Cool
I know I am arriving 70 or 80 years late to the party, but as I am trying to get my Volvo P1800 fixed up I am becoming fascinated with how internal combustion engines work. Now, I am not much of a grease monkey, but I am sometimes able to fix a car. I know how to make sure air, fire, and gas are getting to an engine. What I have no idea about is the intricacies about how the air, fire, and gas work together and against each other to move the car forward (hopefully real fast).
I have been reading a tutorial about getting better performance out of a street drivable Volvo 1800. If you are interested in that kind of thing you should check it out.
