Car Fun

I have been inspired to put effort into having a cool car lately. It has happened from two influences. I have a 1969 Volvo P 1800 S sitting out front that I plan to one day fix up. It has been getting a lot of attention with people stopping and offering to buy it. Then, Cory got his new Volvo replaced and is considering enhancing it in some ways.

So, tonight I ordered new spark plugs (which it needs) and changed the oil. Tomorrow I will pick up the plugs and get it running solid again.

It has some front end damage that I want to get fixed. If anyone knows a good body shop in Nashville that can work on a rare classic car, please pass me their name and contact info. I am also going to need to replace the glass (windshield is the most in need, but I would like to do it all). A friend of mine has plexiglas windows which may be my best bet. I also need a muffler and new brakes. I would like to increase the performance with a nice muffler, and replace the rear drum brakes with disc brakes.

Hopefully I will have progress to report here soon (and maybe even a picture).
