Enter Google Alerts.
I set up Google Alerts using my phone’s email address. It is like Twitter’s “track” for the entire internet. So hey, if you want to get my attention, link to me.
Googlebot has gotten much faster at indexing the conversational web over the past few months. I set up these alerts to notify me as it happens. That means I will be getting pretty close to real time notifications. That could be really handy to add functionality to statzen.
Re: recent posts on Mediacasting: a link to a website is likely an “actionable event” for most companies. Google Alerts could be a great (and free) tool to trigger that event.
