You know those ugly belt holsters that dweebs wear to hold their cell phones? Did you know those are a feature of the Blackberry OS? I didn’t.
When you put a Blackberry into it’s holster it goes into a hibernate mode. That is kind of neat. However, the really cool part is that you can set your notification profiles for when the phone is in and out of the holster.
It is one of those elegant touches that is difficult to pull off unless you control both the hardware and the software. It is the kind of elegance you don’t find in Dells or MS Windows.
