As part of the redesign of The Entrepreneurial Mind, Jeff Cornwall has released a set of financial spreadsheets for starting businesses. If you are thinking of starting a business, you will want to use these or something like these.
When we opened our first retail store we were given a similar spreadsheet tailored to the specific business model of buying and selling clothes. Likewise, we created something similar for statzen.
Maybe it is just because the businesses I am a part of have niche modeling needs, but I think I would have to modify these sheets to be really effective. These spreadsheets are a great starting point.
