From what I hear, the plan is for the first beta of Wordpress 2.3 to be released on Monday. I am really looking forward to this release since it will have ‘tags’ without the use of a plugin, and it should be much faster.
If you are hosting your own Wordpress and are capable of being a beta tester, get your engines ready.
