BarCamp Nashville: Something for Everyone

Have you heard about BarCamp Nashville? (That was really a rhetorical question; everyone has heard about BarCamp Nashville.) Well, the other day I was able to get a sneak peak at the presentation lineup for the ExitIn stage. Let me be the first (or third) to tell you that this event is going to kick ass.

I think the coolest thing about BarCamp Nashville is that there is going to be something for everyone. The presentations run the gamut and from what I have seen there are going to be talented individuals on stage all day long. Of course, that is in addition to the presentations and impromptu discussions that will be taking place at Cafe Coco.

I am honored to be included as a speaker in this event. Sometime between 2 and 3 I will be presenting on some thoughts I have been working on for a while. It is exactly the kind of technical philosophy that I really enjoy. The current topic for my talk is “3D Social Networking”, but I am reserving to change the title a little as the presentation comes together. From what I understand, I will be a part of a slightly more esoteric block of speakers.

I am looking forward to seeing the final list of speakers and their scheduled times. Though, I am kinda more interested to see what will transpire in-between the structured activities.

Update: The BarCamp Nashville presentation schedule is available. Of course, this is only what is taking place at the ExitIn. I am loving the free-form nature of what will transpire at Cafe CoCo.
