I Need Your Support

When I was just a wee lad, my maternal Grandfather (Henry Shipp) died from ALS (also known as Lou Gehrigs disease). It had been a long, painful battle with a very confusing and painful disease. That was in 1979 (I think).

In many ways ALS is one of the diseases that modern medicine has forgotten. We still don’t know what causes it. We still don’t know how to cure it. People are still dying painful deaths and families are still being taxed and crushed by the progressive deterioration the bodies of ALS sufferers.

What we need is to better understand this disease. In order to do that we need more money for more research. In order to do that my family participates in the annual Walk to D’feet ALS. This is our 4th year participating. We would really appreciate your support.

My goal is to raise $210. Please take a moment and sponsor me in the Walk to D’feet ALS. No gift is too small (no gift is too large either).

Thanks for your time, and thanks for your support. Also, you are more than welcome to join our team and walk with us. I think the date of the walk is September 15th. visit my walk page for details.
