After 3 weeks of only traveling for “pleasure”, I am getting on a flight to Dallas tomorrow morning. Last night it felt weird to be booking a hotel room and rental car.
It is odd how quickly I can lose a routine. Something that I do all of the time feel awkward and familiar but foreign after only a short break. Another good example is writing here at jaxn.org. I posted almost everyday for several years, but now I am barely posting once a week. That seems to happen right after I really get in a groove for a couple of weeks.
I am thinking that I will be getting back into both routines at the same time this week. While I am in Texas I am going to be using Crystal Reports for Eclipse to write reports in Java that use POJOs for the data layer. If you ask me, that is cool. I would much rather debug code I wrote than an application that someone else wrote to which I don’t have the source.
