WKRN has helped to foster a vibrant locol blogosphere in Nashville. I don’t know of any city with such a cohesive local blog community. A large amount of credit for that goes to Brittney Gilbert (and others) for the Nashville is Talking website.
When NashvilleIsTalking (or NiT as it is locally known) was recently redesigned, a new feature was added to allow Brittney to change the tagline for the site. A few weeks ago Brittney changed it to something that has been getting on my nerves ever since (I really need to lighten up). After I gave her a not-so-subtle nudge today she changed the tagline. While I must admit that the new tagline "Jackson Miller is a fine chap" is much easier on the eyes, we can do better than that, so…
I would like to formally introduce the Nashville is Talking tagline meme. I am now tagging every Nashville blogger to post a tagline for NiT so that Brittney has some quality quotes to choose from. The only rule is that you only get to post one quote. Here, I will start.
NashvilleIsTalking: Local news for people who think all other local news sucks.
There, your turn.
No really, please pick up this meme.
If no one picks up this meme I am going to feel really lame.
Man, I wish my mom had a blog. She would pick this up. Dad? Anyone?

I’m sort of toying with something that echoes the quote on technorati that goes something like “55 million blogs — some of them have to be good.” You know, like “Nashville Is Talking: And at least a few of you are listening” or “Nashville Is Talking: and talking and talking and…” or “Nashville Is Talking: And some of the time, it’s worth listening to.”
But I don’t know how many people would take it too seriously. So I’ll stop talking now.
You are totally cheating by posting 3
D’oh! You’re right! I totally missed the rule. Whoops.
Nashville is Talking-Now with 100% less Nemesis Boy.
