A few minutes ago the best prdiatrician in Nashville walked into our room in the hospital. He let us know that the difficulty breathing looks to have been fixed by the oxygen flush since the pnuemothorax is gone. This is great news.
Later today he will get an ultrasound to verify that his kidneys are okay (one of them was enlarged in an ultrasound at 7 months).
I think we are pretty much in the clear at this time. It is kind of weird not having our new baby boy in the room with us. It made yesterday a little surreal. Sabrina and I will be glad to take him home as soon as possible.
Oh, and by the way, we are naming him Henry. He may have two middle names (that hasn’t been decided yet).
