There is a story on CNN tonight about a new island that has formed in the Pacific as the result of a volcanic eruption. Apparently the island was first spotted by these two lucky guys who were sailing.
The CNN article references pictures posted on the sailors’ blog, but there are not pictures (probably couldn’t get the rights) and they did not provide a link to the sailors’ blog.
Luckily a quick technorati search pulled up the blog post complete with pictures. It is amazing stuff.
