I am sure you often hear about how things “just work” on a Mac. for the most part this is true. Financial software is the exception. I can’t get any financial software package to work on my Powerbook. They sorta work, but none have been able to talk to my bank (First Tennessee).
If you are an Apple Developer and want to develop software for an eager audience, try personal financial software. I promise to pay at least $50 a year if your software works with my bank and credit cards.
BTW, two separate people IMed me last night about financial software they are using. One is web-based and I am not sure that I am comfortable with that; the other just doesn’t work.
