Keeping Up With the Conversation

Back in May I posted about wanting a way to keep up with the comments I make on other people’s blogs. The problem is that I forget where I have commented. Since I read blogs almost completely in aggregators I never see when there are replies to comments that I have made elsewhere. I try to remember to go back and check, but that is hard to do.

That is why I am excited about a post I just read on TechCrunch.

Here is part of what I said in May:

I would also like a way to track new comments/updates to entries that I commented on or linked to, regardless of whether or not there was a successful TrackBack (which is a whole other rant). If someone replies to a comment I made, I would like to be able to easily see it.

Basically, what I am looking for is a semantic web conversation manager.

Here is what the TechCrunch post says:

CoComment is experimenting with a new way for people to keep track of all of the comments they leave on various blogs.

BINGO! I look forward to giving it a shot sometime in the not to distant future.
