Staying at home with kids is difficult. When Jessica was at work, I would call her and she would get annoyed because she was busy.

Now, she calls me more frequently. It's just kind of the nature of the circumstance. Being at home with kids makes you crave adult interaction, and although it can be a little annoying (only because it interrupts something I'm doing, not because she is annoying), I am growing to understand and appreciate that she calls me rather than gossiping with some busy body.

I can relate though. Although... I think I'm fortunate to not have home or work asking more from me. Makes me wonder.....

I think the better question might be who doesn't have a hard time balancing it. I work from home alot, and the comprimise we have worked out is, from when i get home til 8:30 or 9:00 is a no work zone. Once everyone else is in bed, then I can work. Seems to work most of the time.
