Today I met Anita Bugg from WPLN fame. Sabrina had called about taking a kitten without consulting me. The current owners of the kitten called my house and the caller ID said “Bugg, Anita”. Cool. It is Anita’s spouse that was giving away the kitten.
When we met with them to see the cat I couldn’t resist but tell her that when she first started on public radio my dad and I loved hearing her say her name in the morning. We joked that it sounded like she was saying “I’m gonna eat a bug”. I am sure people make those kind of comments about her name all the time and that I was just displaying my complete un-originality, but I met Anita Bugg so bug off.
