Magazines.com, the Internet’s oldest and largest magazine subscription retailer, is looking for a Graphic Designer. This position will be based in our Nashville area Headquarters. Graphic Designer will assist the Online Marketing Division, as well as the Strategic Partnership Division in numerous projects, such as creating emails, banners, print pieces, landing pages and web site merchandising.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
BA, BFA degree in graphic arts, design, or communications
Expert knowledge of Photoshop
Experience preparing graphics for the web
Command of the English language
Experience with print production
Understanding of HTML
CSS style sheets, Quark Xpress, Scanning, Digital Photography experience is a plus
*** Experience with Online Retail Marketing is a major consideration.
Candidates must have a portfolio of related work available for review.
Other:
Ability to work well with a team and multi-task under deadlines are also important qualities.
