Still no Tabitha Tuders

I first posted about about Tabitha Tuders one year ago today (just a few days after she was missing). One year later the question of Tabitha Tuders’ whereabouts still stands.

This week the Nashville Scene had a prominent article about Tabitha’s case (Failing Tabitha Tuders).

In their article they talk about the lack of police attention in the case. It is a fact that the Nashville Police dropped the ball in this case. Personally I think that the police chief owes the city of Nashville and apology (and I am 100% serious).

Speaking of apologies, in my first posting about Tabitha I asked the un-askable question, "were Tabitha’s parents involved in her dissappearance". With the recent history of high-profile child disappearances where the family was involved, the question needs to be asked. Unfortunately I regret my timing in asking the question. I think it is apparent to all that Tabitha’s parents were not involved. I do not know them, but they only live a few blocks from me. To them I am sorry for asking about their integrity at a time when they were heart-broken and scared. I was trying to be helpful by raising awareness on the web, but the only important question at that time was where was Tabitha.

The question that needs to be asked at this time is "Who the hell took Tabitha Tuders against her will?"

The metropolitan Nashville Police Department needs to get off their rear-ends and answer this question.

However, in spite of the Nashville Scene’s article this week and a few news articles marking the anniversary of Tabitha’s disappearance, the news media needs to do a better job of keeping the focus on this case. In my post one year ago today I pointed out that the Nashville news media was not talking about Tabitha enough, and that has become even more so as time has gone on.

This case needs to be resolved and the person(s) responsible need to be brought before the community to answer for their actions.
