Tears flow
from deep within my soul,
brought froth from thine eyes.
To trust what I've received with peace.
To bring it out of the depths in which it hides,
shatter all the lies,
embrace the smiles
Empowered as God's child.
Sister circle wheel,
etheric Sat-Sanga,
Gives a beacon to the lost, to the stolen
            Chants
Welcome Home

I came across your blog today while doing a search to see if there was any news about Tabitha. I got a recent article where the fbi had done a sweep on the U.S. for a prostitution ring(s) and uncovered several teens held in captive. The reason I thought of Tabitha is because, I am the investigator who went to TN with Project Safe Child in 03', what the media does not know, nor has the family disclosed lead me to believe she may have initially went with someone she knew, in hopes of perhaps ditching school that day. I have a suspicion that she may have been taken into a known ring in that area. We followed many leads over a 2 week period, which consisted primarily of watching local prostitutes and gathering information about the John's. Rumor had it on the street that Tabitha was with this group and was due to be moved out of the area and sent to a nearby large city. It is bitter sweet, to entertain the idea that she may still be with this group, she would be almost legal age, and I would hope if the rumor has any truth to it, she would be contacting her parents if able. I did not feel that she was abducted, in the sense of a authentic abduction. I also felt at the time that the parents and family were not coming forth with all of there information. During my interview with them they did not react as most parents would in that situation. They were stoic, and unresponsive. IMO

The Maury show has just been repeated here in the UK so that is probably why you have interest from over here. We always watch these sort of cases with interest when we have children, and we feel the pain when one is missing. I knew the show was an old one, but wanted to know if the story had a happy ending. I hope that one day it will, and all of us parents will share your joy when it does happen. God be with you.

I guess if you have never had a child missing then it would not be "newsworthy" for you. How could you say such a thing. as human beings, we morally, should take interest in a missing child enough that it is "news worthy" everyday, until the person is home safe, where they belong. Lack of human interest is part of this problem. This is whay our world has come to.
Yes, this is, or should be, a concern for the mayor. If this city is unsafe, he better be concerned. Like I said, unless you have had a missing child, you could never begin to understand the importance of keeping their faces in the news. What's 15 seconds going to hurt a broadcasting company, for the sake of a life?

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but also because so many girls (and guys too) go missing all the time that people just start to see it as an everyday thing and don't really think it's anything big anymore. It is and it's very serious. Think how Tabitha feels if her community isn't really into trying to find all that much. She wants to be found and come home very much I'm sure.

The reason for the lack of press is that there are no new details on the case. It is (and this sounds harsh) no sense in wasting news time telling the same old story. There is no reason to try to make it an issue in the Mayor's race, that sort of thing is not his responsibility. We will hear news when there is some to report.
